Eddie George and I go way back. I remember when this guy showed up as a freshman out of Ohio State, straight out of Fork Union Military Academy. He would answer "yes sir, no sir" to everyone. He was just another number at that point. Now he's a mega-star! And I'm still a just a TV dork! He's a great guy.

Wide shot of the set area at the BCS Championship in Jan., 2007. This was at the Fox Grill in Scottsdale. We had a pretty nice set-up, and it's not often you get a one-on-one sit-down with a Heisman Trophy winner and All-Pro.

Brownie points if you can name all three people in this picture from the BCS Championship.

Same three.on the set at the Fox Sports Grill.

I was lucky enough to go inside the famous "Green Monster" at Fenway Park, and even luckier to sign my name. There are some seriously famous names inside there...looking back, I am clearly not worthy!

Here is a look inside the "Green Monster. They still operate it "old school!" It's a man-operated scoreboard. It's not a large space and on this day it was hot, hot, hot, hot in there!

Also inside the "Monster" is a very historic camera position. From this very spot, the famous Carlton Fisk game-winning home run in Game 6 of the 1975 Playoffs, was shot. Please Note: I hate this moment in sports history because this is the clip that they show when they highlight the '75 Series...uh..um...last time I checked, the Reds won! This should not be the lasting image of the series! But none the less...still a very historic camera spot.

This is the door leading into and out of the Green Monster. Yes, this is the very same door that Manny Ramirez  disappeared into during a game...you fill in the rest!

Man did I butcher this interview! I was the first to interview Ken Griffey Jr. after he hit historic home run #500. It was one of the coolest events I have ever witnessed first hand, but one of the worst moments in my broadcasting career!

I was in our TV booth when Jr. hit #500. I took this pic with a pocket-size digital cam. I was lucky enough to frame it where I got the pitchers mound, the plate, and Jr. swinging. I even got the fuzzy little ball in flight, rocketing off of Jr's bat. If it wasn't going to happen in Cincinnati, I'm glad it happened in St. Louis...a great baseball town.
